Our Team of Instructors

Renee Escobar, L.M.P. 
   Renee's interest in massage was first sparked by her years of dance training with ballet companies in Connecticut and Virginia where she became interested in body movement and awareness. A successful practicing therapist for the past 10 years, her teaching experience includes: instructor of the Leningrad Pedagogical Method of Ballet, Nationally Certified Aerobics Instructor, Personal Trainer and Instructor of Massage Therapy. Her goal as an instructor is to teach integrative massage therapy so her students may learn to deliver a unique, effective and seamless therapeutic massage to meet the needs of future clients.

Heather Draper, L.M.P.
   Heather's advanced training in Hydrotherapy, Spa Techniques, Herbology, Aromatherapy, and Healing through Movement has made her a very valuable part of the school's team of instructors. She has been a practicing therapist since graduating from massage school in 1998.

Joshua Spangenberg, L.M.P.
   A graduate of the Northwest School of Massage, Joshua specializes in the fields of Swedish massage, Cranio-Sacral Technique, Reiki and on-site massage. A talented teacher, Josh created our first all-graduate massage clinic, providing exceptional care to members of the Federal Way community.

Marcus O'Crotty, L.M.P.
   Marcus has mastered a wide range of massage and energy work techniques, making him a very effective and flexible instructor. His concern for the students and remarkable ability to impart effortlessly information normally difficult to learn makes him one of our most popular instructors. He maintains a very busy practice in Tacoma, and is always available to students for any assistance they need during the program.

Jack W. Weaver, D.C.
   Dr. Weaver graduated from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1980. His personal injury practice gives him the background to impart valuable information on building and running a practice as well as bringing structural alignment work from the chiropractic realm to the massage scope of practice. Besides teaching, he is also a school director.
